Introduction to CATS

Within the three prospering academic cities of Cambridge, London, and Canterbury, you can find the leading international high school in the UK, CATS. Each one of the campuses has a range of educational courses and syllabus for students aged 14 or 15 up to 21. These students have an excellent record of moving forward with international studies on to the best universities in the UK and abroad.

CATS History

Since its establishment in 1952, CATS has progressed into becoming one of the advanced and flourishing independent education providers in the UK and USA.
CATS operate on two simple premises: merge outstanding high-grade teaching with an in-depth comprehension of its pupils and their personal needs whilst being done in an accepting and encouraging environment.
CATs is a home away from home where its pupils can reach their full potential both personally and academically.
Students of this UK Boarding school are being governed by skillful welfare and support staff and are being taught by exceptional teachers who are all certified experts in fostering and guiding international students so that each of them reaches their highest potential within the British or American educational field.

Tale of Three Cities

Students have now many options in location, they can either join CATS in Bloomsbury Square, London; in the heart of Cambridge where other colleges of the university are at; or at one of the safest university locations for a boarding school in the UK, Canterbury. The three campuses all offer the same grade of education and pastoral care and the same value of managed responsibility.

Limitless Possibilities

All three campuses can be assured to offer one-year IGCSE/Pre-Programme, University Foundation programmes for international students and a variety of A-level subjects that are available in three-, five and six-term programmes. CATS Canterbury and Cambridge campuses also have the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma and a two-year GCSE option. Students of CATS have personalized learning plans, everyday tutor sessions, written tests every week and a variety of supplemental support like Oxbridge programmes and the Medics. For students who need financial help to attain their educational goal, there are scholarship programs as well.

World Class Pastoral Care

Students of CATS are housed based on age, making it the perfect choice for students who are older than their friends. This boarding school has one of the highest pastoral staff to student ratio in the UK. Rooms at CATS are either single or twin and many have an attached personal bathroom. Students aged between 14 to 17 live in small boarding houses while those who are 18 and above have more freedom in houses similar in universities. The same supervised boarding house system is being observed in the London campus giving the quality of care that parents expect and students merit. Ninety percent of students at CATS use the boarding residences and since September 2015, all schools have newly built or renovated boarding accommodations.
